An oval magnetic sheet measuring 120 x 92 millimeters, with an adhesive layer on one side. According to the name it is a self-adhesive build, so the sheet only has the backing paper removed and is pressed into place. The shape matches the oval bases used with larger figures, mounted models and machines in a scene.
The main use is transport and storage. When you stick the sheet to the underside of a base, the model clings to any steel surface: to the sheet-metal bottom of a case, to a shelf unit or to a transport box lined with sheet metal. The model then does not slide or fall on its side while being carried, which is decisive with fragile barrels, antennas and outstretched limbs. The second route is the opposite one: the sheet is stuck into a transport box and the models are laid onto it with magnets in their bases. It also comes into its own during building, when an assembly is meant to come apart, and in display, where it holds a model in its appointed place and does not let it slide out of it.
The magnetic sheet alone in the size given is supplied. Bases, figures, separate magnets and a transport box are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
