Paper Sunflowers for Dioramas from LIANG Model is a kit of paper sunflowers for dioramas and vignettes. It combines laser-cut paper parts, resin flower centers and wire for the stems.

This is not a model of equipment or a figure, but a scenic accessory: a kit from which you build a group of sunflowers for the vegetation of a diorama or a vignette. The set is conceived universally and is usable in the larger scales, typically 1:32, 1:35 and 1:48; the modeler decides the resulting size of the plant by the length of the wire stem and the number of leaves fitted.
The basis is laser-cut paper petals and leaves, resin center discs of the flowers and wire, which serves as the stem. The paper is thin and easy to shape, so the petals can be curved and turned into a natural position. According to the manufacturer's data the set is enough for six plants.
Take the parts out of the sheet carefully with a sharp scalpel, roughen the wire lightly before gluing and join the parts with cyanoacrylate glue, which does not bleed into the paper. Painting can be done with acrylics laid on lightly with an airbrush or stippled with a brush; acrylic does not deform the paper as much as solvent-based paints. It pays to work in layers: the base tone of the petals, a darker center and, at the end, drybrushing plus a gentle shading of the leaves. Stick the finished plants into the base of the diorama and hide the transition to the roots with static grass or pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base of the diorama are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
