Metallic Blue is a powdered modeling pigment in a metallic blue from the Spanish brand AMMO of Mig Jimenez. A pigment is a powder, not a liquid product: it is not worked like a wash, which runs into the recesses, and not like a filter, which shifts the tone of a whole area. The metallic impression comes from the sheen of the fine particles, so the result changes according to the angle of the light and the smoothness of the base: over a smoothed surface the application looks more unified than over a roughened one.
