Artwox Model wooden deck planking with a strip width of 2.0 mm is a self-adhesive material for laying deck surfaces by hand.
Responsibility details are not available.
This wooden sheet from Artwox Model is a raw material from which you lay a deck surface yourself. The name gives the width of an individual strip as 2.0 mm and the word sticker, that is a self-adhesive finish. It is not a finished part cut for one ship but a stock that you adapt to the shape of your model.
This value is among the most often chosen, because at the usual reductions it comes out believable. At a ratio of one to a hundred a strip corresponds to twenty centimeters of real width, at one to seventy-five to fifteen centimeters. Both fall into the range that really did occur on the decks of wooden ships, so the result looks neither coarse nor overdone.
The surface must be flat, dry and free of dust, otherwise the edges will lift in time. Cut with a sharp scalpel along a metal ruler; a plastic edge is nicked at once and the line runs off. Lay the strips smoothly in one direction, so that the deviation does not build up, and cut the overhang off right at the edge only after gluing. Anyone who wants to be sure should try the layout dry on a paper copy of the area first and only then reach for the sheet.
