PLW LIGHT GREY

AMMO PLW Light Grey (panel line wash)

Panel Line Wash Light Grey from AMMO of Mig Jimenez is a ready-mixed enamel (solvent-based) panel line wash. Its thin consistency lets it flow by capillary action into engraved panel lines and recesses, where it brings out the detail as it dries and creates gentle shadows. The light gray shade is intended for aircraft in a white or very light gray finish, for example machines of the Vietnam era or winter camouflage, and also for ships and sci-fi subjects. It comes in a bottle of about 35 ml, ready for immediate use.

Use

• Applied with a brush straight into panel lines and detail, where it flows in on its own
• Once it has set, the excess is wiped off with a clean brush dampened with enamel thinner
• It works best on a smooth, semi-gloss or varnish-protected surface
• Thinned and cleaned with enamel thinner (mineral spirits), not with water

Who it is for

For modelers of aircraft, ships and sci-fi subjects who want to bring out panel lines quickly and cleanly. The ready-mixed formula saves any mixing and even a beginner can handle it.

An enamel product containing solvents: flammable, use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from children.
