Precise Chameleon modeling tweezers 13.5 cm from the company Amazing Art are the longer variant for working with small parts where more reach is needed.
Responsibility details are not available.
Modeling tweezers from the Chameleon range, 13.5 centimeters long. This is a version a centimeter longer than the shorter variant in the same range - longer arms mean more reach into a model already assembled and a softer, smoother pressure, because the force of the hand is spread along a longer lever. That is exactly what helps when fitting small items into a cockpit interior, between finished parts of a structure or into the depth of a diorama, where shorter tweezers will not reach.
For modelers of all levels who want longer tweezers to hand as a complement to a shorter pair. In practice it works well to keep at least two pairs of different lengths and tip shapes on the bench - every operation needs a slightly different tool. Longer tweezers also work better over a model under construction, because the hand does not have to come right down over freshly glued or painted surfaces, where a fingerprint is a risk.
When buying, look above all at how the tips meet. Tweezers that do not close at the tip will fire a small part away, and the hunt costs more time than the rest of the operation. If the tips gradually stop aligning, it is usually the result of levering or of a fall - so put the tweezers down in a way that leaves the tip pressing on nothing.
The tips are sharp; store the tweezers out of the reach of children. Do not use them as a lever or for holding hot parts; deformed arms no longer close accurately.
