A profile with a section shaped like the letter C in white polystyrene. The profile is 7.9 mm high and 2.4 mm wide and the material is 1.1 mm thick; it is supplied in a length of 600 mm. It is used for girders, frames, guide rails and structural members on models of buildings, bridges and industrial structures and in dioramas.
Styrene is easy to cut and sand and is joined with solvent cement, which makes a firm weld. The profile can be primed and painted with ordinary modeling paints.
