Plastruct H profile (beam 7.9 x 7.9 mm)

This is a precisely extruded plastic profile with an H-shaped section (a double T, an I beam) measuring roughly 7.9 x 7.9 mm (a wall thickness of around 1.1 mm) and about 375 mm long. It is not a kit and not a finished model but a structural modeling material imitating steel girders. Plastruct is an established American maker of profiles, tubes and fittings for modelers, architects and diorama builders.

Who it is for

For modelers and scratchbuilders who need a sturdier H beam of constant section. The profile is glued with plastic cement; on the harder ABS ranges use a stronger cement for ABS.
