A precisely extruded section in the shape of the letter I in white polystyrene. The height of the section is 15.9 mm, the width of the flanges 7.9 mm, the thickness 1.5 mm and the length of the rod 375 mm. The package contains one piece. The I-beam is the classic horizontal load-bearing element, which faithfully imitates rolled steel girders.

Working the material

Polystyrene is easy to cut, saw, sand and drill, is glued with liquid cement for plastic models and takes fillers and paints. Joints with other materials are held by super glue. The material is compatible with the plastic of ordinary kits.
