Tamiya PS-39 Translucent Light Blue is a translucent light blue 100 ml lacquer spray for polycarbonate bodies. It does not cover; it works as a color filter over the base.
Responsibility details are not available.
A lighter variant of the translucent blue from the Tamiya PS range. It is a tinting lacquer without covering power, so on its own it does not turn an area opaque but filters the color of the base underneath. The range is intended for the flexible polycarbonate bodies of radio-controlled models, not for styrene plastic kits. The can holds 100 ml and the paint is applied directly.
For modelers who want to play with color depth, ice-toned schemes or transitions. It also suits an additional shade used to lighten the edges of a hood or a wing over a silver base. For anyone looking for a simple single-color body without experiments, an opaque blue shade from the same range will be more practical.
Safety at work: the contents are flammable and the can is under pressure. Spray outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, away from open flame, sparking and hot surfaces, with a respirator and eye protection. A distance of roughly twenty-five to thirty centimeters keeps the spray pattern even. Always make a test spray on an offcut with the same base, because with a translucent paint the richness is hard to judge. Do not pierce the can, do not burn it and do not store it above forty degrees.
