Tamiya PS-46 Iridescent Purple/Green Spray (100 ml)

An aerosol lacquer spray from the PS line for the polycarbonate (Lexan) bodies of RC models. An iridescent shade that, depending on the viewing angle and the lighting, shifts between purple and green: a striking changeable lacquer for unusual schemes. The coat is flexible, it does not crack on a bendable body, and it dries quickly.

Use

• It is applied from the back, that is the inside, of the clear body.
• The iridescent effect comes out best over a dark, often black, base, which accentuates the color shift.
• Shake before spraying, because the effect particles settle to the bottom.
• Apply in thin, even coats, and the changeability grows with the smoothness of the base.

For RC car modelers who want a striking changeable lacquer with a color-shifting effect, and for eye-catching secondary areas on other models as well.

The PS line is for polycarbonate and Lexan. Apply it to ordinary polystyrene with care, because lacquer chemistry can attack thin plastic; test it on an offcut. Flammable, use with good ventilation and away from sources of fire.
