A paint from AMMO of Mig Jimenez carried under the manufacturer's part number A.MIG-0004. It aims at the shade RAL 6011, whose name in the German standard color chart is Resedagrün, reseda green. The figure six at the start of the four-digit number places the shade in the group of greens; it is a subdued green shifted slightly toward gray, without the saturation of a fresh meadow. Judge the exact look of the tone against the manufacturer's color chart and the label on the bottle, which convey it more faithfully than a description in words.
Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly first, because the pigment sinks to the bottom and the upper layer tends to be lighter than the real tone. Choose the thinner intended for this range and keep the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Apply several thin coats with a pause between them, because one thick coat fills the engraving and wipes out fine surface detail. Wash and degrease the model beforehand, otherwise the paint beads up on greasy plastic.
Subdued greens quickly flatten a shape over a large area if they stay in a single tone. It therefore pays to lighten the center of the panels slightly and to leave the edges darker; only then does the model gain depth. Try the shade on a piece of scrap plastic: on a small area and under a final clear coat it looks different from the way it does in the bottle. Close the bottle carefully after taking paint out and store it dry and away from frost, so that the paint does not thicken.
