About product

AMMO RLM 70 Schwarzgrün - acrylic paint from AMMO

A water-based acrylic modeling paint from AMMO (Mig Jimenez) in a 17 ml bottle. The dark green shade to the RLM 70 Schwarzgrün standard was part of the standard palette of the Luftwaffe in the Second World War, served as a base and camouflage color for the upper surfaces of aircraft, and propellers were also painted with it. The paint is thinnable with water, odorless and intended for application with a brush or an airbrush.

Use

  • Shake the bottle thoroughly before use; inside is a stainless mixing ball that helps to stir the pigment.
  • For the airbrush, thin the paint with acrylic thinner of the same brand, or with water, and spray in several thin coats.
  • It can be brushed on with little thinning; wash the tools with water while the paint is still wet.
  • It dries in a matter of tens of minutes and cures fully in about a day.
  • Store it tightly closed so that the paint does not thicken, and stir it again before the next use.

Who the paint is for

For builders of Luftwaffe aircraft and for modelers who want the exact RLM 70 shade for camouflaging upper surfaces or for propellers. It suits small and large scales alike.

This is a paint, not a kit. Do not confuse water-based acrylic with lacquers or enamels; they have a different chemistry and a different thinner. Work in a ventilated area and keep out of the reach of children.
