A round modeling brush, size 6, for base coats, larger areas and blending paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
A round brush in size 6 for painting models and figures. With round brushes the rule is that the size grows with the number, so a six is among the larger tools: it suits base coats, larger areas and blending, where a smaller brush is not enough and the work drags on needlessly. For fine work, the eyes of figures or narrow lines, keep a thinner size beside it.
Load the paint only into the front part of the hair, not right up to the metal ferrule. Paint that dries inside the ferrule splays the hair and the tip will never come back. Draw the stroke along the whole length of the area and lay the brush down rather than press it; pressure frays the tip and the mark is uneven. During longer work rinse the brush out now and then, so that the paint does not dry on the hair, and rinse it before first use as well, because the tip tends to be stiffened from the factory.
After work wash the brush out while the paint is still wet and reshape the tip with your fingers into its original form. Never leave it standing in a jar resting on the hair; a bent tip will stay bent. Store it lying flat or with the hair upward. Which paints and thinners the brush stands up to and how to clean it is given by the manufacturer. Set aside a separate older brush for glue and aggressive products, so that you do not ruin this one.
The brush alone is supplied. Paints, thinner and cleaning products are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
