A green shade from the Alclad II Enamel range, intended for the cockpit interiors of Soviet aircraft. The thinner and the thinning ratio are given by the maker on the packaging.
Responsibility details are not available.
The green of the cockpit is among the recognition marks of Soviet aviation equipment. The inside of the fuselage, the instrument panel, the frame of the seat and the inner side of the canopy tended on these machines to be done in the shade that modeling practice calls cockpit green. This shade aims at it, and you will use it everywhere you can see into the model: in the cockpit, in the landing gear bays and on the inner sides of the covers.
The shade belongs to the Alclad II Enamel range. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are given by the maker on the packaging; reach for it for cleaning the tools as well and do not mix the paint with thinners of other ranges. Shake the paint properly before every use, because the pigment settles at the bottom during storage and without stirring the shade comes out uneven.
Apply in thin layers and let them become tacky between one another. A thick layer fills the fine relief, which in a cockpit is the only thing that is then visible. Wash and degrease the surface of the model beforehand, so that the paint holds. Try the shade out on a piece of plastic that does not belong to the model, and only then go to the part. Once it has dried, the inside of a cockpit is customarily brought out with a dark wash and a dry brush, so that the controls stand out.
Thinner, brushes and airbrushes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
