Cement bags in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer MAiM: a small building accessory that gives a diorama of a building site or a yard its conviction.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of cement bags in 1:35 scale from the MAiM brand. This is not a kit but a diorama accessory, exactly the type of everyday material that lies around on every building site, in every yard and in every garage. Bags with loose contents have characteristic soft shapes and settle naturally onto a surface, so they give a scene volume and life without much work.
Cement bags belong on a building site, by a concrete mixer, on the bed of a truck, in a warehouse or beside a wall under construction. In military scenes they serve as improvised barricades or supports, and in civilian vignettes as a natural prop for worker figures. They combine well with the other building accessories of the same range, with pallets, a concrete mixer or road signage, into a complete building corner.
Clean the castings up, wash them and prime them. Paint the paper bags in muted shades of gray, beige and brown; the printing can be suggested with a fine brush. The patina is the key, because dusting with a light pigment imitating cement dust turns a clean casting into a believable prop. With torn or opened bags you can also scatter dust around them on the base.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and may need a little cleaning up. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
