Sand Grey – RAL 7027

Mr.Paint Sand Grey (RAL 7027)

Mr.Paint Sand Grey is a solvent-based modeling lacquer paint in a sand gray shade matching the RAL 7027 standard. This light earth tone belonged to the palette of German military vehicles and was used above all in camouflage for the desert and southern theaters. The paint is thinned with lacquer (cellulose) thinner, not with water, and is ready for spraying with an airbrush in extremely thin coats.

Use

• The sand gray shade of German military camouflage.
• Applied with an airbrush in an extremely thin coat with strong coverage.
• Thinned with the lacquer thinner for paints of this type, never with water.
• It dries quickly to a smooth, finely satin surface.
• Compatible with a gloss lacquer coat under decals and with a matte varnish at the end.
• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.

Who it is for

For modelers who build German military vehicles in desert or light earth camouflage and want thin, smooth lacquer coats applied with an airbrush. The lacquer base holds excellently on plastic and on metal and takes subsequent weathering with washes and pigments. Do not mix it with water-thinnable acrylics or with enamel paints.

A flammable solvent-based liquid. Spray in a well-ventilated space away from open flame, use respiratory protection and keep out of the reach of children.
