SEA Camo Light Gray (FS 36622)

Mr.Paint SEA Camo Light Gray FS 36622 (30 ml)

A light gray shade from the Mr.Paint modeling range matching FS 36622. It is the light gray of the undersides of American aircraft in the Southeast Asia (SEA) camouflage used during the Vietnam War. This is a lacquer-based paint, pre-thinned and ready to spray straight from the bottle; once dry it gives a very thin, smooth film with a silk matte surface. It forms the light lower element of the scheme and is combined with the dark green (FS 34079) and the medium green (FS 34102) of the upper surfaces. The paint is intended exclusively for the airbrush.

Use

• Ready for the airbrush, usually with no further thinning with a nozzle of about 0.3 mm
• The light gray undersides of the SEA scheme; combine it with the dark and the medium green of the upper surfaces from the same range
• Spray in thin coats at low pressure onto a clean surface
• For fine techniques thin it with the lacquer thinner of the same range; clean the tools with lacquer thinner

Who it is for

For modelers of American aircraft of the Vietnam War who spray the SEA camouflage with an airbrush.

A solvent-based lacquer product is flammable. Use it in a well-ventilated area, with a respirator and away from open flame. Intended for the airbrush only. Keep out of the reach of children.
