Signal Red (BS537)

Mr.Paint Signal Red (BS537)

This is a lacquer modeling paint from Mr.Paint in a signal-red shade matching British standard BS 537. The manufacturer thins the paint to a thin, sprayable consistency straight from the bottle with an airbrush. It comes in a 30 ml bottle and dries to a fine, slightly satin lacquer with good coverage and a rich color.

Use

• Applied exclusively with an airbrush over a suitable primer; brush application is not intended.
• Suits warning markings, details and areas in the signal-red shade per the British standard.
• Sprayed in thin coats at low pressure; thin with the manufacturer's own thinner if needed.
• For rich red shades, we recommend spraying over a light or white base for full coverage.

Who it is for

The paint suits modelers who spray with an airbrush and need an accurate signal red per British standard BS 537 — whether on aircraft, vehicles, equipment or warning elements. Thanks to its lacquer base, more advanced builders will appreciate it too.

A solvent-based lacquer paint — flammable. Work in a well-ventilated area, away from open flame, and use suitable respiratory protection. Airbrush only.
