A modeling paint in the Silver Grey shade from the AK 3rd Generation line, 17 ml. For brush and airbrush alike.
Responsibility details are not available.
Silver Grey is a light gray with a silvery cast. Shades like this find a use on a model anywhere the surface should be light but not white: on the finish of undersides, on the inner faces of covers, on small parts and as a base under further coats. Light grays also go well with darker transitions and washes, because every shadow stays visible on them.
Shake the bottle well before use; the pigment settles while it stands. Apply in thin coats and let the surface become tacky in between, as one heavy coat floods the fine engraving and roughens the surface. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, that is, the thinner made for this line. The base has to be clean and degreased; paint does not hold on grease and peels off during masking.
A 17 ml bottle lasts even for a large model and suits builders of aircraft, vehicles and figures equally. Anyone painting with a brush will appreciate two thin coats instead of one heavy one; anyone spraying should thin the shade and lay it on in several passes. When you are done, overcoat the model with a topcoat according to the gloss you want.
Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
