A handmade model spruce 230 to 270 mm tall with a short trunk, that is with the crown beginning low above the ground, as is typical of free-growing conifers. The tree is fitted with a wire pin for pinning into a substrate, so it is easily planted into a layout or a diorama. Every piece is an original and thanks to the handmade production they differ in detail. The manufacturer is the Czech brand Model Scene.
The Norway spruce is one of the commonest conifers of Central Europe. Free-growing trees keep dense branching almost right down to the ground, while trees in dense forest have a crown only in the upper part of the trunk. The short trunk of this model corresponds to a spruce grown as a solitary tree.
This is a finished scenery accessory ready to be planted; glue is not included in the package.
