This injection-molded plastic kit renders the Soviet KV-II heavy tank in a playful shortened egg tank style (the Q series). It is not a model in a reduced scale of the subject but a stylized caricature with a massive gun and a rotating turret. The parts are designed to snap together, the build is quick and even a beginner can manage it.
The KV-II was a Soviet heavy tank of the Second World War, armed with a massive 152 mm howitzer in a tall boxy turret. It was based on the chassis of the KV-1 heavy tank and was used in the opening stages of the fighting on the Eastern Front. The cartoon model keeps its characteristic features in a light-hearted form.
The parts can be joined without glue, although fixing the joints with modeling glue is recommended for strength. Even on a simplified model, a primer, an airbrush coat and simple weathering with a wash will stand out. The rotating turret and the moving features stay working.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
