STANDARD FAT SPRAY CAPS are replacement spray caps for sprays with a wide pattern. They fit onto the valve of a can in place of the original cap and widen the cone of the spray.

Small plastic spray caps from the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. They are neither paints nor refills but a fitting: they go onto the valve of an aerosol can in place of the cap it came with from the factory. The word fat in the name says what type of pattern they give, that is a wide cone that covers a larger area in one pass and breaks up into stripes less. The same line also has a version with a narrow jet for fine work.
A wider cone also means higher paint consumption and more overspray into the surroundings, so prepare a larger area to set things down on and spray from a greater distance from the model. After each use turn the can upside down and press briefly until clean gas comes through, or the cap will dry up and spit next time. Check compatibility with your particular can, because different spray manufacturers use different valves.
For players and modelers who work with sprays in larger volumes, spray terrain and base coats, and want the work with a can under control instead of relying on whatever the manufacturer packed with it.
Work with sprays only in a well ventilated space or outdoors, away from open flame, and use a respirator. Keep the caps out of reach of children, as they are small parts.
