Ten flat ABS strips of 0.50 x 3.00 millimeters cross section and 350 millimeters length, 3.5 meters of material altogether for building your own parts.

The bag contains ten flat ABS strips. Each has a cross section of 0.50 x 3.00 millimeters and a length of 350 millimeters, so altogether you get 3.5 meters of material. It is a raw material from which you make a part yourself, not a finished model or a set for a particular kit.
Half a millimeter of thickness is little for a beam, but just enough for a facing. A strip like that will yield trims, edgings, wall stiffeners, joint covers, boards of formwork or a replacement for a part that has broken. A thin strip can also be bent slightly into an arc, so it will serve where a facing is to follow a rounded shape. A width of three millimeters corresponds in 1:35 scale to roughly ten and a half centimeters in reality, that is to an ordinary board or a narrow trim.
A strip is best divided by scoring it several times with a sharp blade against a ruler and then breaking it. Sand the cut down with fine abrasive paper, so that the end seats flat. For gluing use super glue or a cement meant for ABS. If you want to join it with solvent cement for polystyrene, try the joint on an offcut first, because ABS reacts to it differently from ordinary modeling plastic. Before painting, wash the surface, degrease it and spray on primer.
Glue, paints and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
