About product

Mr.Paint Super Clear Semigloss

A semi-gloss transparent lacquer from Mr.Paint (MRP) in a 30 ml bottle. It offers a gentle semi-gloss, a look between a flat and a gloss surface, that unifies the model and brings out its shapes naturally. The varnish is pre-thinned and ready to spray with an airbrush straight from the bottle.

Use

  • a final semi-gloss coat over the whole model or over selected areas
  • spraying with an airbrush in several thin coats over dry paint
  • a recommended pressure of roughly 10 to 25 psi
  • sealing and protecting decals and weathering with a discreet sheen
  • thin with lacquer thinner if needed and clean the airbrush with lacquer cleaner

Who it is for

For modelers looking for a realistic semi-gloss surface, suited for instance to cars, vehicles or subjects on which a purely flat surface looks too dry and full gloss is unwanted.

Intended for the airbrush. Flammable, the vapors are harmful: use in a well-ventilated area, with a respirator and gloves, away from open flame and out of the reach of children.
