A modeling brush with a pointed tip in the small size, intended for painting small areas and detail.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pointed brush is the basic tool for painting by hand. The small size makes it a helper for small areas and detail: instrument panels, door handles and headlights, the eyes and buttons of figures, lettering and small fittings. It also works well for touch-ups after masking tape has been taken off or after spraying, when only a small patch of paint has to be added.
Pick the paint up on the tip only, not as far as the neck, where it builds up at the point the hair is held and splays it out. Apply thinned paint rather in two thinner coats than in one heavy one, otherwise the crispness of the edges and the three-dimensional surface will be lost. Guide the brush lightly, as pressure on the hair bends the tip and widens the mark. In longer sessions keep stirring the paint on the palette so that it covers evenly.
Clean the brush immediately after work, before the paint dries, with the thinner that the paint's manufacturer states for it. Then rinse it and straighten the tip back into its original shape with your fingers. Never leave it standing hair down in a container of thinner, as that deforms the hair permanently. Store it lying flat or tip up. Keep a brush used for painting for painting, and use a different one for glues.
It suits everyone who paints by hand, whether figures, small accessories or the finishing of a model after spraying. Paints, thinner and other equipment are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
