The Tamiya SMALL brush is a round (pointed) modeling brush from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya in a small size. It is designed for work where the precision of a single stroke matters: fine details, instrument panels, figures' eyes and faces, thin lines, and touching up small mistakes after airbrushing. A small brush holds less paint, but its point holds its shape all the better, letting you paint exactly where you need to. It is not a kit or a paint — it is a tool for applying paint.
Reach for SMALL when you need fineness and control, that is, for details, instruments and figures' faces. MEDIUM, by contrast, is a versatile middle size for medium areas, interiors and equipment, where you want an even coat and a smooth stroke. Painting a large area with a small brush is needless extra work: the paint dries faster than you can spread it, and visible strokes remain in the finish. Conversely, detail painted with a large brush usually does not match the shape of the part.
For figure painters, cockpit and interior builders, and anyone finishing up details after airbrushing. Suitable for beginners and advanced modelers alike.
A modeling tool (an accessory), not a kit. Paints and thinners are not included in the package.
