Tamiya Weathering Master B is a compact weathering set from Tamiya intended for quick and clear emphasis of the aging and wear of models. It is neither a kit nor a classic paint in a spray can — in a practical case there are three shades of a semi-moist weathering medium (frost/snow, soot and rust) together with an enclosed double-ended applicator (a sponge and a brush). The medium holds well on the surface, does not run into the surroundings and is applied straight onto a painted model. The compact case is easy to carry.

Use

• Pick a shade up from the case with the applicator and apply it where the effect arises naturally — edges, raised parts, exhausts, engines and lower areas.
• Use the soot shade around exhausts and barrels, rust on corroded metal surfaces and frost or snow for a wintry, snow-covered look.
• Layer the effect and blend it slightly until you reach the intensity you want; the individual shades can be combined.
• Suitable for military vehicles, cars, aircraft as well as figures and dioramas.
