A light blue listed under the part number HTK-C129 in the Hataka Orange Line range. The A II designation in the name comes from the manufacturer's own naming; the binding reference is the sample on the packaging. Light blue shades are used on aircraft models above all on the lower surfaces, where they imitate the color of the sky, and further on small parts and in interiors.
Stir the contents of the bottle well right down to the bottom before use, as the pigment settles when standing for longer and unmixed paint dries into patches. The thinner made for this range and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer on the packaging; follow those instructions. Apply in several thin coats and let each one set; a single heavy coat floods the fine relief and tears when masked.
Light shades cover weakly and break toward gray over dark plastic, so spray a light base coat under them. Wash and degrease the model first, as fingerprints only show up under the paint, when it is too late to put them right. Think through the transition between the light lower surface and the camouflage above: spray a soft transition freehand, and mask a sharp edge with tape laid only onto a dried coat. Lift the tape at a sharp angle, so that it does not pull the edge of the finish with it. Close the bottle right after work and keep it dry and away from frost.
The paint is supplied in its package. The thinner, brushes, airbrushes and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
