Tamiya Weathering Stick (Sand)

Tamiya Weathering Stick (Sand)

Tamiya Weathering Stick (Sand) is a weathering stick in a sand shade from Tamiya. It is a waxy stick in a twist-up case similar to a glue stick, with which you apply the effect of dust, dried mud and dirt straight onto a finished model. The material has an opaque, slightly damp consistency and holds on the surface once dry.

Use

• Twist out a little of the stick and apply it straight onto the model where you want the soiling
• Blend the applied color out with a brush or a cotton swab
• A heavier application and more pressure can create a three-dimensional effect of caked mud or dust
• Shortly after application the material is washable with water, so the effect can be adjusted or wiped off with a damp cloth
• Suitable for tracks, chassis, fenders and the lower areas of vehicles and for a diorama

Who it is for

For modelers of equipment, cars and figures who want to add realistic dusting quickly and without an airbrush. The sand shade suits a dry, dusty environment. Distinguish the Sand, Light Earth and Snow variants.

Close the case well after use so that the stick does not dry out. Store out of the reach of children.
