According to the name it captures a port scene completed by a vehicle and belongs thematically to a series inspired by the ship Titanic. It is not a scale model of the vessel or a reduction in a set ratio, so the model has no scale.
Stylized models of this category deliberately work with distorted proportions: squat shapes, enlarged details and simplified lines. The aim is not documentary accuracy but the resulting scene, which works as a decoration for a shelf. That is exactly why no scale is given for them; the proportions of the individual elements follow an artistic intention rather than the real dimensions of the subject. Kits of this type tend to be smaller and quicker to assemble than classic scale kits, but they are still plastic parts on a sprue that have to be cut off and glued.
First lay the parts out and assemble the scene dry, so that you know how the individual elements follow on and what has to be painted first. The small stylized parts have very fine gates, so cut them off with nippers and finish with a scalpel rather than snapping them. Apply cement for plastic with a brush and very sparingly, as it easily floods small parts. Painting calls for clear, saturated shades and sharp transitions, because it is contrast that makes a stylized scene readable. Paint the vehicle and the scene separately and join them only at the end. A light wash in the seams will deepen the shapes, but do not overdo the patina; cartoon models look better clean.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
