What the holders are for

Working with them

Wipe the holders with alcohol before first use; there is usually some grease left on them from production, and paint and glue will not hold afterwards. If you want to paint them, reach for a primer from a spray can and let it dry thoroughly so that the coat does not rub off in handling; the edges that are picked up most often will take a layer of matte varnish. Gluing them with super glue only makes sense where the assembly is to stay together for good, otherwise keep the option of taking them apart.
