Tamiya TS-1 Red Brown — a 100 ml spray

This is a synthetic lacquer in a spray can, not a water-thinnable acrylic. The TS range is a general-purpose one. The Red Brown shade is a red-brown and suits a base under rust and clay effects, wooden and iron elements, and camouflage color as well. The lacquer dries quickly and the 100 ml can will cover a larger area of a model.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly before spraying, until the mixing ball moves freely.
• Spray from a distance of 25 to 30 cm in thin coats; the lacquer is aggressive to bare plastic.
• For even coverage, even the base out with a primer.
• Once dry, details can be finished with acrylic or enamel, which will not attack the lacquer.
• Paint at room temperature and low humidity, as otherwise the surface will go matte.

For modelers who need to lay a red-brown shade evenly over larger areas — whether as camouflage, as a base under rust, or as the color of wood and iron.

It contains flammable solvents. Use it only in a well-ventilated space, away from open flame, and protect your airways. It is thinned with lacquer thinner, not with water.
