TS-8 Italian Red 100ml

Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red 100 ml (spray)

A synthetic lacquer spray paint from Tamiya in the popular TS range in the Italian Red shade. The pressurized can holds 100 ml of paint and is intended for spraying plastic models. It is a gloss shade ideal for the bodies of sports cars, for Italian cars and for other vehicles calling for a bold saturated red.

Use

• The paint is ready for immediate use; shake the can thoroughly for several minutes before spraying
• Apply it in thin coats from a distance of roughly 20 to 30 cm, as several light coats give a smoother result than one heavy one
• It dries fast to a smooth gloss surface and it holds on plastic and on a properly prepared base
• A lacquer base is not attacked by acrylic or enamel paints, so detail can be finished with a brush
• Worth completing with a lacquer primer and a final clear coat for maximum gloss

Who it is for

For modelers building car models and other vehicles who need a quick and even gloss red without an airbrush. Suitable for beginners and experienced builders alike.

The spray is a flammable pressurized can. Use in a well ventilated space, do not breathe the fumes and protect your eyes and skin. Do not pierce the can, do not throw it into fire and do not expose it to heat above 50 °C or to direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and of sources of ignition.
