This is not an aircraft model but a resin detail set from the Brassin range by the Czech maker Eduard. It replaces the standard plastic exhaust pipes with finely cast resin parts with open, hollowed mouths and sharper edges, which on a finished model looks more realistic than a solid plastic imitation.
The set contains resin exhaust parts intended for Focke-Wulf Fw 190A models in 1:48 scale. They are fitted in the area behind the engine cowling in place of the parts from the box. The accessory suits above all modelers who want to bring out this exposed part of the airframe.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The mouths of the exhausts come out nicely with a dark wash and exhaust staining applied with an airbrush or pigments. Sand with your airways protected.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
