TS-90 Brown (JGSDF)

Tamiya TS-90 Brown (JGSDF) — 100 ml spray

This is a synthetic lacquer in a spray can, not a water-thinnable acrylic. The Brown shade matches the brown component of the camouflage of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), which uses a two-color brown and green camouflage on its modern tanks and armored vehicles. The TS range is a general-purpose one; the 100 ml can covers a larger area and suits models of military vehicles.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly before spraying, until the mixing ball moves freely.
• Spray from a distance of 25 to 30 cm in thin coats; the lacquer is aggressive to bare plastic.
• For even coverage, unify the base with a primer.
• Apply the second camouflage color over masking, or paint it in with acrylic or enamel — the lacquer will not attack them.
• For flattening and weathering, use washes and pigments once it has dried.

Who it is for

For modelers of modern Japanese army vehicles who want to lay down the correct brown camouflage shade quickly over the larger areas of the hull and the turret.

Contains flammable solvents. Use only in a well-ventilated space, away from open flame, and protect your airways. It is thinned with lacquer thinner, not with water.
