The Lifecolor UA426 paint from the circle of United States Army uniforms, an olive with a green tone.
Responsibility details are not available.
The shade UA426 from the Lifecolor line is named after the uniforms of the United States Army, and within the family of olive tones it takes the position with a green cast, that is the one the fabric is closer to while it is fresh and unfaded. Beside the browner and grayer positions of the same family it is clear that the olive is not one color but a scale from which you can choose according to how worn the kit you want to show is.
Besides the blouses and trousers of figures, the shade serves on canvas: on shelter halves, tarpaulins, packs, bedrolls and other soft items carried on top of a vehicle. It is worth setting exactly these small things apart from the painted surface of the vehicle, because otherwise the whole build merges into a single tone. It also serves well as the middle tone between a dark olive in the corners and a brightened olive on the edges.
Stir the bottle before work, as the pigment settles at the bottom. On figures, light coats applied with a stippling brush, with the lower tone left showing through between them, is what works and gives the fabric depth. For thinning use the product intended for this line in the ratio the manufacturer states on the packaging. Let the paint dry between coats, or the previous layer lifts. A final matte varnish unifies the sheen of the whole figure.
The delivery contains one bottle of paint in the shade named. Figures, brushes, thinner and varnishes do not belong with it, unless stated otherwise.
