The green half of the late camouflage scheme carries the number 82 in the RLM system and is offered by the acrylic Lifecolor Luftwaffe Hellgrun RLM 82.
Responsibility details are not available.
A light green acrylic shade listed in the German aircraft coding under the number 82. In the two-color camouflage of the end of the Second World War it forms the counterpart of the brown-violet shade with the number 81, and together with it covers the upper surfaces of aircraft.
The RLM system has several green shades and they are easily confused. The number 82 belongs to the light, late one; against the dark greens of the start of the war and against the olive used for blotches over the desert yellow it is noticeably brighter. On a model it therefore pays not to judge the colors by name but by number: only that defines which period and which surface a shade belongs to. A light green also works well for bringing large areas alive in places where a uniform coat would read flat. Against the early schemes the difference is visible at a glance: whereas machines from the start of the war have dark and calm upper surfaces, the late combination of light green with brown-violet is lighter and more articulated.
For modelers who work with German machines of the end of the war and assemble a palette exactly by number. For a complete scheme a brown-violet above and a light blue for the lower surfaces are still needed.
Keep out of the reach of children. Ensure ventilation when spraying.
