LifeColor Polished Aluminium - metallic acrylic paint 22 ml

A metallic water-based acrylic paint in a 22 ml package. The polished aluminum shade from the range of metallic paints is intended for natural metal surfaces (natural metal finish) on aircraft and other subjects. It needs no black base coat and is non-toxic and free of solvents.

Use

  • Applied with a brush as well as an airbrush; for spraying it is thinned with water or LifeColor thinner to a milky consistency.
  • Stir the paint thoroughly before use, as the metallic pigment settles to the bottom.
  • It looks best on a smooth, sealed surface; apply metallic shades rather at the end, as they are harder to overspray and mask.
  • Ideal for fuselages and panels with a natural metal finish, engines and metal details.

Who it is for

For modelers of aircraft and vehicles who render unpainted metal surfaces and set individual panels apart with different metallic shades.

The paint is water-based and non-flammable; even so, work in a ventilated room, protect it from frost and keep it out of the reach of children.

FAQ

No, this metallic shade needs no black base coat. For the best sheen, make the surface as smooth as possible.

It is a water-based acrylic; it thins with water or LifeColor thinner. For an airbrush, thin it to a milky consistency and spray at lower pressure.

For natural metal surfaces on aircraft and vehicles; stir the paint before use and apply it rather at the end, as it is harder to mask.
