Blu XMPR Satin - Lifecolor acrylic paint

Blu XMPR Satin is an acrylic modeling paint from Lifecolor. The Italian blu means blue; the XMPR designation is kept exactly as it stands in the name and is not expanded here. The word Satin gives the degree of sheen and corresponds to a satin surface. The paint is part of a continuous range aimed at the livery of rolling stock, where it forms one of the components of a multicolor scheme.

Use

• The blue of this group is built as a full color of the livery, not as a mere accent.
• It combines naturally with the green and light gray shades that carry the same designation in the name.
• Good masking tape pays off at the border of colors, so that the edge stays sharp.
• A satin surface is rewarding on saturated blues, because the tone does not turn gray the way it does under a full matte.
• On smaller parts brush application works well, on larger continuous surfaces spraying.
