The acrylic modeling paint IDF Sandgrey 1 from Lifecolor is a sand gray shade, the first of two numbered tones of the same family in the manufacturer's palette.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single bottle of acrylic modeling paint from the palette of the Italian manufacturer Lifecolor. It is a sand gray shade marked IDF in the name, with the numeral one added. That numeral is not accidental: in the manufacturer's palette two sand gray tones marked one and two stand side by side, so the number is a distinguishing detail, not a position in a sequence.
Sand gray is a color that looks very different on a model depending on the light and on what sits next to it. That is exactly why manufacturers often offer two close variants of the same tone: the modeler can use them to animate a surface, to set individual panels apart or to suggest that parts of the finish have faded more than others. The difference between two related tones is legible on the model, but it does not break the overall impression of a single uniform finish the way a jump to a completely different color would. Which of the two tones is the lighter one, however, cannot be read from the names, so go by the manufacturer's color chart.
The paint will be appreciated by armor modelers and by diorama builders who work with sand and parched tones and build their palette shade by shade.
Keep out of the reach of children. Work in a well-ventilated area and follow the instructions on the packaging.
