A plug adapter between the European system and the British system, in a white finish. It lets you connect a device whose plug does not fit the outlet, without having to change the lead. British outlets have a different shape and pin spacing from European ones, so without an adapter you will not get the device into the outlet.
Most often with devices a modeler buys from abroad and which arrive with a foreign plug: compressors, extraction boxes, lighting for the work surface, chargers, hand grinders and drills. The second situation is the opposite one, that is when you take your own equipment to a show or on holiday to a country with a different outlet system.
For modelers who use devices with a foreign plug, and for anyone who carries equipment between countries with different outlets.
The adapter alone is supplied. A lead, an extension cord and the device are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
