USAF TAC SOUTH EAST ASIA (SEA) SCHEME

USAF TAC SEA Scheme – an acrylic set from AK Interactive

This is a set of acrylic paints, not a kit. It contains the camouflage shades needed for painting models of American aircraft deployed in Southeast Asia in the 1960s and 1970s with units under Tactical Air Command of the USAF. The scheme consists of a combination of greens, a brown and a light tone for the underside.

Use

• Acrylic paints thinnable with water or with the manufacturer's acrylic thinner; for brush and airbrush alike.
• Apply over a primer in thin coats; the camouflage is sprayed with soft transitions.
• The shades suit aircraft such as the A-1, F-4, F-105 and F-100 and allied machines as well.
• Before the decals we recommend covering the surface with a gloss coat.

Who the set is for

For modelers of American aviation of the Vietnam War era who want the period-correct shades together.

Acrylic paints: they are thinned with water or with acrylic thinner, but work in a ventilated area all the same. It is not part of a kit.
