Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of small colored elements depicting Soviet medals and decorations of the period up to 1943. It is the second part of a pair of sheets; the first part is a separate item and the division of the motifs between the two sheets is given in the manufacturer's instructions. The elements are intended for finishing figures and scenes where the same detail painted with a brush would be hard to keep readable.
The method of application differs with sheets of this kind and the part number does not determine it. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the particular procedure, then, and do not work to the pattern of another line of elements. Preparing the surface is always the same: paint the figure completely, let it dry fully, clear the surface of dust and grease, and only then transfer the element with tweezers with fine jaws. Good light and a steady hand pay off, because the elements really are tiny.
The sheet suits modelers of figures and dioramas from the Eastern Front who want the awards readable, not merely suggested by a blob of color. It also comes into its own on collectors' busts, where the chest is in the foreground of the view and where an inaccurately painted detail draws the eye at once. The two parts of the pair are sold separately, so compare before buying which of the sheets carries the motifs you need for your figure. Given the size of the elements it pays to have a sharp blade and a pair of tweezers set aside for fine work.
Figures, paints, varnishes and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
