A modeling paint from the Hataka Orange Line range, carried under the manufacturer's part number HTK-C080. The name of the shade is French and means green. Green tones are among the most used in modeling: they cover the camouflage finishes of ground vehicles and of aircraft, and they also come into play on equipment and on transport crates in a scene. Compare the paint against the manufacturer's color chart or against the call-out in the instructions for the kit you are building.
Stir the bottle well before use, as settled pigment would otherwise shift the final shade. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging, so follow those instructions. Apply several thin coats instead of one heavy one and let the surface flash off in between; a heavy coat floods the engraving and dries unevenly. Wash and degrease the surface of the model before painting, because paint does not hold on greasy plastic.
Green shades behave differently on a large area than on a test strip, because every unevenness and every difference in coat thickness shows on them. Try the paint on a piece of scrap plastic first, and do it in the same light in which you look at the model. A primer coat unifies a base made up of plastic, photo-etched metal and filler, so the shade comes out the same everywhere. Lay masking tape only onto a fully cured coat.
The paint is supplied on its own. The thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
