A Hataka modeling paint from the Orange Line range, the shade Vert Foncé IR from the group of French military finishes.
Responsibility details are not available.
Vert Foncé IR is a dark green, the basic component of French military camouflage, in which it is complemented by a brown and a sand. The French name is carried over into the item name in its original wording, so the shade can easily be paired with documentation on the real subject. The abbreviation IR belongs to the designation of the original military finish, and the modeling paint takes the shade over from it.
It comes into its own on models of modern French ground vehicles and anywhere a dark, subdued green without a blue cast is called for. The same range also holds other French shades, so a whole camouflage can be put together from one range and there is no need to look for substitutes from other makers. It can be used outside French vehicles as well, for example on crates and tarpaulins in the equipment of a vehicle or as a green base before layering shades.
Stir the contents of the bottle thoroughly before use; the pigment settles at the bottom while it stands. Choose thinner and thinning ratio according to the instructions given by the manufacturer on the packaging, and mixing in thinners from other ranges does not pay off. Spray in thin coats and let them flash off in between; one heavy coat floods the detail and dries more slowly. Try the shade on a piece of scrap plastic first, because it looks different over a light substrate than over a dark one.
Thinner, brushes and the model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
