Responsibility details are not available.
A Hataka modeling paint from the Orange Line range. The name of the shade is French: vert means green and the abbreviation OTAN is the French name of the North Atlantic Alliance. The abbreviation IR refers to the infrared band, that is to a property watched on the finishes of real vehicles. For building a model what matters is how the shade looks in daylight, that is a saturated dark green used in modern camouflage schemes.
Stir the bottle well before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, that is always the thinner made for this range. Do not mix different ranges with each other, as the binder may curdle and the coat then goes grainy. Spray in several thin coats and let each one set. Wash, degrease and even the base out with a primer beforehand, otherwise the shade will read differently on each material.
Modern camouflage green covers large areas on vehicles, and it is exactly there that you notice most whether the base was evened out. It pays to play the shade up: lighten the centers of panels slightly, leave the edges more saturated and pick the edges out only once the paint has dried. Before putting it on the model, make a test spray on a spare piece of plastic and judge it in daylight rather than on a screen.
The paint is supplied on its own. The thinner, primer and varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
