Eight acrylic tones for the camouflage patterns of German units of the Second World War, including two shades developed directly for these prints. Bottles of 17 ml for a brush.
Responsibility details are not available.
From the end of the 1930s German field units wore camouflage covers with a printed pattern, which collectors still tell apart today by the motif. The plane-tree pattern gave way to oak leaf, and toward the end of the war came the so-called pea-dot print. What they all had in common was that they were made up of just a few colors printed over each other, and it is exactly this principle that sets painting them apart from a single-color uniform.
Eight bottles of seventeen milliliters cover the print itself as well as everything around it. Two shades carry a reference to the camouflage print directly in their names, a medium brown and a deep black-green. They are completed by an olive green, a saddle brown, a chocolate, an orange brown and a very dark brown-black tone for shadows and outlining spots.
The shades are matte, so the modeling of small folds is not lost on them. They suit figures in the larger scales, where the pattern is readable, as well as tarpaulins and the accessories of vehicles. The painting can be done with thinned paint in layers, tone beside tone, until the print reaches the right density.
