This is a modeling material, not a ready-made scenic element. A water surface only comes out of the pot through the modeler's work: the gel is laid into a prepared bed in the diorama and, depending on how it is worked, it can become a calm surface, a rippled one or running water. The package holds 250 ml, so it will stretch to a larger area as well. The turquoise tint is part of the material, so you do not have to mix the shade yourself.

Use

• The bed of the diorama has to be sealed and watertight beforehand so that the gel does not escape beyond the area
• Paint the bottom first, because the final shade of the surface is a combination of the color of the bottom and the tint of the gel
• Apply in thinner layers and let each one cure; a deep layer poured all at once dries through far less readily
• Waves and ripples are shaped with a brush, a wooden stick or a toothpick while the surface is still workable
• The turquoise shade suits shallow, clear water; for murky water or a deeper sea the range offers other shades
