Wet Palette from Green Stuff World is a wet mixing palette intended for work with acrylic paints. The principle is simple: a moistened hydrophilic sponge is placed in the tray and a semi-permeable membrane (paper) on top of it. The membrane lets moisture through toward the paint but does not allow the paint to soak through. The paints therefore stay pliable and usable for much longer than on a conventional palette.
